Staphylea colchica is an uprigth, deciduous shrub with panicles of fragrant, bell-shaped white flowers in Spring, changing to bladder-like greenish-white fruit – hence its common name ‘Ivory-flowered Bladdernut’. Thick stems bear pinnate, glossy green leaves and thrives in almost all soil types. Height & Spread: 3.5m (11′).
