This dwarf form of scabiosa forms a low, tufted mound which is perfect for rockeries and gravel gardens as well as border edges. Dead-head regularly and it will produce pin-cushion flowers in shades of lilac to pink from June to September held elegantly above dark green basal leaves. Like all Scabious, the blooms are highly attractive to butterflies and other pollinating insects. Drought tolerant once established, Scabiosa columbaria ‘Misty Butterflies’ is also perfect for container displays. Height: 25cm (10”). Spread: 20cm. (8”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
