This hardy perennial Salvia forms a hazy mass of upright purple stems crowded with violet blooms throughout summer. The rough green foliage beneath is aromatic when crushed, and shows good drought tolerance once established. Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’ is a well known and highly regarded cultivar that holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance. Salvias are superb garden plants, loved by bees and resistant to deer and rabbit damage. Ideal for sunny cottage garden borders and wildlife areas. Height: 50cm (20″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
