Flowering all year round, Saintpaulia ‘Podvenechnaia’ is a standard variety boasting white blooms generously flushed with shades of pink and violet, with a small ruffle at the centre. African Violets make great shade-tolerant houseplants, with exotic-looking flowers produced for most of the year in a wide array of vibrant shades, rising above thick, furry green leaves.
