At Plants Sales Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your gardening purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process for most items.
Our Returns Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it
- The item must be in its original packaging
- You must have the original receipt or proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of certain products, we cannot accept returns for:
- Live plants (including Artichoke Plants, Asparagus Plants, Brassica & Leafy Green Plants, and All Other Vegetable Plants)
- Perishable goods (seeds including All Other Vegetable Seeds and Brassica & Leafy Green Seeds)
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Items marked as “final sale”
We carefully inspect all plants before shipping, but if you receive damaged or unhealthy plants, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue.
How to Return an Item
Follow these simple steps to return an item:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our return request template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
- Wait for Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Package Your Return: Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging with the RMA number clearly visible on the outside.
- Ship Your Return: Send the package to our return address (provided in your approval email) using a trackable shipping service. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days of arrival at our facility), we’ll process your refund or exchange:
- Refunds: Will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow:
- 3-5 business days for credit/debit card refunds to process
- 24-48 hours for PayPal refunds
- Exchanges: We’ll ship your replacement item as soon as possible using your preferred shipping method. If the replacement item is of higher value, we’ll contact you for payment of the difference.
Note that original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or an incorrect product:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damaged/incorrect item and packaging
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label if needed
