Poppy ‘Snow Goose’

A showy early-summer perennial with extravagant white petals flushed with the palest hint of pink. The purple-black blotches at the base of each petal create a strong contrast that always draws attention. As the flowers fade, they leave behind their large, rounded seed heads that provide further interest.

This clump-forming, hardy perennial is best grown among other herbaceous plants that will fill the gap in late summer when its bristly, silver-green foliage dies back. Poppy ‘Snow Goose’ is ideal for dotting through sunny cottage garden borders or mingling among billowing grasses. Oriental Poppies make a great addition to cut flower borders and wildlife gardens where they provide a rich-source of nectar for pollinating insects. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 40cm (16″).
