This small and compact variety of Ninebark is absolutely ideal for planting in garden borders or in pots on a patio. Its lush, deep burgundy foliage initially emerges as an orange red colour and slowly deepens its hue as it matures, giving it a constantly changing foliage, adding a great deal of interest wherever it is planted! Clusters of white flowers appear in summer to give a contrast to the dark leaves and later fruit will develop too.
