A real beauty for late spring borders! Peony ‘Cora Louise’ bears ruffled white blooms that are flushed with lavender at the centre. Exotic-looking and gently fragranced, the flowers are superb for flower arrangements – if you can bear to cut a few stems. This hardy perennial is an intersectional hybrid – a cross which marries the exotic looks of tree peonies with the herbaceous growth habit of herbaceous peonies, and often called an Itoh Peony. A lovely addition to cottage garden planting schemes. Height: 75cm (29″). Spread: 90cm (36″).
Culinary note: The petals can be added to salads, or cooked slightly and sweetened for a treat. Peony water was also once considered a delicacy and the blooms can be floated in punches. For more details about edible flowers click here.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
