Penstemon ‘Raven’

Sumptuous, tubular, blackcurrant blooms rise in elegant spikes above clumps of narrow foliage for literally months on end. Penstemon ‘Raven’ is a striking cultivar, particularly when teamed with pale flowered perennials such as anthemis and gypsophila. Like all penstemon it is a magnet for pollinating insects earning it a place in wildlife areas too. This semi evergreen perennial is easy to grow and holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance.
