Lobelia Vedrariensis

A particularly tall variety, Lobelia x speciosa ‘Vedrariensis’ is ideal for adding vertical interest to damp borders, bog gardens and pondsides. Elegant spires of three-lipped, deep violet tubular blooms are produced from July to September, adding valuable late summer colour. This beautiful cardinal flower thrives on rich, reliably moist soil, either in full sun or part shade.

Hardier than Lobelia x speciosa ‘Fan Blue’, ‘Vedrariensis’ is a great choice for areas of the UK that experience very cold winters. Height: 90cm (35in). Spread: 30cm (12in).
