This magnificent hardy perennial makes a fabulous addition to hot-coloured borders, bog gardens or pondside planting. Tall spires of three-lipped, tubular flowers in an intense shade of velvety crimson rise above dark green foliage from midsummer to early autumn. Tough, reliable and low-maintenance, Lobelia speciosa ‘Fan Burgundy’ adapts well to permanently boggy ground, though does equally well in average conditions so long as the soil remains moist. The blooms are attractive to butterflies and makes a great cut flower. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
Please note: All parts are toxic. The milky sap can irritate skin.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
