This cultivar of Knautia macedonica has all the best attributes of its relative but in a smaller, more manageable package. ‘Mars Midget’ has the same pincushion, burgundy flowers produced copiously from early summer to autumn. The nectar-rich flowers are held on the end of slender, swaying stalks, giving it an airy, informal look. But instead of its sprawly cousin, it forms a low, rounded mound which is much better suited to smaller borders. Great for pollinators and wildlife gardens. Height and Spread 45cm (18”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
