The impressive conical blooms emerge ivory and gradually colour to deep strawberry pink giving a mouth-watering two tone effect. The plump flower heads are carried upon strong stems that won’t slump in wet weather. Hydrangea paniculata ‘Fraise Melba’ is extremely hardy and positively thrives in those tricky north facing positions where its flamboyant blooms and vibrant autumn colours will light up even the gloomiest corners.
