Large, single, pure-white flowers are borne in late summer on this wonderful deciduous shrub, with five large outer petals surrounding a centre of small, petaloid stamens. Lobed, dark green foliage provides the perfect backdrop to Hibiscus syriacus ‘White Chiffon’, whether placed in a patio container or in a mixed shrub border. There’s no surprise that this shrub has been awarded a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 2.5m (8′).
Culinary note: The flowers can be infused to make a mildly citrus flavoured tea. The petals can be cut and added to fruit salads too. For more details about edible flowers click here.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
