This unusual evergreen shrub saves its flowers until late summer and autumn, erupting into bloom as the rest of the garden begins to fade. Long white flower spikes of up to 15cm (6″) appear at the stem tips, contrasting beautifully with the leathery, dark green foliage. Hebe macrocarpa var. macrocarpa has an architectural, upright habit that makes a striking focal point for a sheltered border. Although hardy, this variety will appreciate protection from the coldest winter weather. It can be grown in a large container for a magnificent patio specimen, and moved into the conservatory or greenhouse over the coldest winter months. Height: 2m (78″). Spread: 75cm (29″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
