Gaura Lindheimeri ‘Crimson Butterflies’

Gaura lindheimeri ‘Crimson Butterflies’ is distinguished by the gorgeous colour of its dark green-red lance-shaped leaves which provide a beautiful complement to its deep pink flowers.

Unlike taller Gauras, which tend to flop and require support, ‘Crimson Butterflies’ has a compact, bushy and upright habit, making it suitable for small gardens, front-of-border positions and even container growing. It boasts a long flowering season, bearing masses of dreamy, wand-like panicles of fluttering deep pink flowers from summer to autumn. Drought tolerant once established, this airy and informal perennial associates beautifully with ornamental grasses. Height and spread: 50cm (20in).
