Originally bred for cut flower production, the English translation of this German variety is ‘Cutting Gold’. Prized by flower arrangers for producing masses and masses of flowers over a long season, it is these properties that also make it such a rewarding garden plant.
Coreopsis ‘Schnittgold’ bears an incredible quantity of vibrant yellow, daisy-like flowers on long naked stems above basal rosettes of lance-shaped leaves. Flowering commences in early summer and continues until the beginning of autumn. In common with other tickseeds, the blooms provide a banquet for pollinating insects. Height and spread: 60cm (24in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
