Campanulas are such easy and rewarding plants, no garden should be without them. Campanula persicifolia is one of those reliable, undemanding perennials which once planted will just happily do its own thing. From early to mid-summer, low rosettes of narrow, evergreen leaves produce sturdy stems carrying large open bells in a dainty shade of lilac blue. It will modestly self-seed, nicely sprinkling itself throughout borders where it combines harmoniously with other classic early cottage perennials such as geraniums and peonies, creating graceful vertical accents amongst mounding plants. It also makes a fine accompaniment to roses. Good for pollinators. Height: 70cm (27″). Spread: 30cm (12”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
