Traditionally known as Asters, these prolific perennials put on a long-lasting show which lasts from late summer through to autumn each year. Abundant with dainty mauve daisy-like flowers which bring late-season colour to the garden, they’re also nectar rich and attract bees and butterflies. This variety has a strong, upright yet compact habit, making it a suitable choice for patio containers as well as borders. Tough and resilient, these hardy plants produce a great show with very little fuss, thriving in sun or partial shade – ideal for dotting around the garden in groups to create that quintessential cottage garden look.
