Acer Palmatum ‘Deshojo’

A magnificent small tree which provides interest in the garden for months on end, whose 5-lobed leaves unfurl a brilliant shade of shrimp pink in spring, turning green in summer and scarlet in autumn. Acer palmatum ‘Deshojo’ is one of the most traditional plants to be grown as a bonsai, but takes very well to being grown in a large container in a moist but well-drained compost. Height & Spread: 2.5m (8′).
